it happens again
26 05 2004Procrastination and I have been really close for as long as I can remember. I frequently put off those activities/responsibilities I view as unpleasant until the very last minute. I’ve gotten by just fine living this way and I don’t expect this to change any time in the near future, if ever. The problem arises when it’s not just me that’s affected by it. I have a business proposal letter due in my X100 class this evening for my group that I still haven’t done. I’ll manage to take time out of my afternoon at work today and pull something out of my posterior, but I feel bad about waiting to so long to do this with the grades of my group members. Of course, I quickly absolve myself of any guilt when I remember that this letter is worth less than 1% of our total grade for the course. If it was just me, I might not even do it.
Oh by the way, I had my first test on Monday night in that class. The only studying I did was reading my notes for about 5-10 minutes before class and I got a 98. Should be another easy A.
So what was I doing last night instead of working on this assignment? Messing around with my Xbox. I finally got the new dashboard software installed, so I now have the ability to rip games directly to the hard drive. However, since I only have a 10GB HD in there, that space will go fast. I’ll be placing an order soon for a new drive, most likely in the 120GB region, although my modchip does support larger ones. The size I’ll get will mostly be determined by pricing.

Yes, you are very bad for putting off your assignment. I cringe in horror at the thought of someday being put in a group, not of my choosing, comprised of slackers. yikes.
Well, if it was me, you would cringe less because I do good work when I finally get around to it. The people in my group and the instructor all said it was excellent, and I wrote it on my lunch hour.
So what classes will you be slacking off in for the fall?
Just checked online and apparently I am taking 131 (blech) and Spanish 118. I might throw another class on there to get my cr. hrs up so I’ll be a sophomore for the spring.
I really really liked 131. I took it off campus and had a wonderful teacher, Mr. Spray at Beech grove high school.
in the fall, I have my science semester: human physiology and chemistry, of which I am a little concerned about.
but I too, will be a sophmore in the spring. About freakin’ time.
Sweet, we can pick on freshman together. They’re just soooo totally lame.
