Pretty much every night before I go to bed, I watch at least one show on [adult swim] (link also added to the Links section on the right), which is the more adult-oriented programming segment on Cartoon Network. The shows I tend to watch are some combination of Family Guy, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and SeaLab 2021, all of which are hilarious.

During the [adult swim] broadcast, at the beginning and end of every commercial break they run these short spots called “bumps”, which pretty much always consist of black backgrounds with white text, almost always funny. Sometimes they’re plugging a show, sometimes they show and respond to a viewer email, etc. Last night I saw maybe the funniest bump ever. Rather than describe it, I just went ahead and recreated it in Fireworks and have it below for your enjoyment (though some of the effect is admittedly lost by having to describe a sound rather than letting you hear it).
