exhibit 41

Want more proof that I am a hopeless geek? During my commute home from work Friday afternoon, I was listening to Radiohead’s OK Computer. Great CD. That’s not the geeky part.

During one song I heard Thom Yorke sing the words “one thousand feet per second.”

Here it comes.

Curiosity got the best of me, so I whipped out my cell phone, opened up the Calculator function, and figured out how fast that was in miles per hour.

WHY?!

P.S. - It’s 681.81818181 (repeating) mph.

Radiohead is awesome…that alone should out weigh the fact that you are a geek. And if your taste in music doesn’t, your humor certainly does. We are all geeks in our own way. I take much pleasure in frequently checking out the NASA website, to find out what’s going on in outerspace. If I had the math skills you do, I would be an astrophysicist. Why? Because I’m a freakin dork, that’s why.

This post is perfect for me, maybe. I actually lost or misplaced that album along with a bunch of other random ones stuck in a cd case a short time ago. Any chance you could get that to me sometime?

I Googled 681mph and that’s the maximum speed of the North American FJ-3 Fury at sea level. I wonder if that’s how Radiohead travels to their shows? Bet not. I know some people that went to some of their concerts and they said it’s just not the same listening to them live. I agreed with the “why” which is that they are a good group to just sit back and relax to.
